Trauma-Informed Therapist in Pennsylvania
“Healing begins with feeling safe enough to be fully seen — not for who you think you should be, but for who you truly are.”
Meet Karalyn
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in PA
Being human in this world can be incredibly difficult. Maybe you’re carrying experiences from your past, struggling with intense emotions, navigating complicated relationships, or feeling disconnected from yourself. You might be working through trauma, experiencing anxiety or depression, or struggling with your relationship with food and your body. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
I believe healing begins with feeling safe enough to be fully seen and understood. My collaborative, person-centered approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your lived experience. I strive to create a supportive environment where you can explore what you’re going through without judgment and begin to make sense of the patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck.
Your Story. Your Healing. Your Treatment.
Everyone’s story is different, which is why I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of her work. Together, we will take time to understand your experiences, identify patterns and areas where you feel stuck, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I work with children ages 8 and older, teens, and adults navigating a range of challenges, including trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, attachment difficulties, and relationship struggles.
I understand that the things we struggle with often have deeper roots. You may find yourself caught in familiar patterns, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, or having difficulty understanding why certain experiences continue to affect you. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore those underlying experiences with compassion while developing tools that help you move forward.

EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy helps your brain reprocess traumatic memories, negative core beliefs, and emotional patterns that keep you feeling stuck. This evidence-based trauma therapy can help reduce anxiety, PTSD, and complex trauma symptoms so you can move forward with greater confidence and ease.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma can continue to impact your emotions, relationships, and sense of safety long after the experience itself has ended. Our trauma therapy helps you process what happened, understand how it still affects you today, and build lasting relief so your past no longer controls your present.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy combines ketamine treatment with therapy to help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. By increasing neuroplasticity, or your brain's ability to change and form new pathways, ketamine can help accelerate healing and create opportunities for deeper emotional processing and lasting change.
Eating Disorder Treatment
Our eating disorder treatment provides compassionate, trauma-informed care for individuals struggling with binge eating, restricting, emotional eating, body image concerns, and disordered eating. Together, we'll help you build a healthier relationship with food, your body, and yourself while addressing the underlying factors driving these patterns.
