Your Body Isn't the Issue

Have you ever felt that if you just lost "x" amount of pounds, everything would be better? So you spend all this time, energy, and money, fighting to get your "dream" body. However, have you noticed that even if you reach that goal, you are left continuing to feel the same way, if not worse, you felt before? The game continues and you are left on a never-ending cycle of just wanting to no longer feel crappy about yourself.

And at the end of the day, we feel like we are a failure. For some reason, we don't have the "discipline" or "willpower" to obtain the body that we probably will never be able to physically have in the first place.

You are not a failure. You never were.

It's not really about your weight or how your body looks. It's the empty promise of what will come once you have that dream body. It's the belief that your problems will disappear, that you'll finally be happy, and you will actually start to love yourself.

Do you see how what you really want is to finally be content with yourself? To be confident and resilient in the problems that come your way?

It has nothing to do with what you look like.

It has never had anything to do with what you look like.

Society has tricked you into believing this lie. But you don't have to buy into it anymore. In fact, it's your responsibility to start calling this lie out for what it is, complete and utter bullshit.

You deserve to feel better about yourself and your life now, not when you meet your goal weight or when your body looks a certain way.
